| Let's get out and support them gang! Many of you have asked for shows in the GTA and as you know I've been working hard to get them for you on the IASCA/IdBL front.
Here's a little insider info... IASCA head office has finalized the world record program for 2004 and will be releasing a press release on Monday. The press release is basically this, IASCA has started recognizing and recording IdBL world records as of the Mosport TKE and there are five people in IASCA's ranks that are qualified to officiate world record attempts; these people are...
Myself, Jeff Fronk, Terry Floyd, Chris Orblom and Fred Lynch.
Every one of us has the new AudioControl SA-3056 official IASCA meter, properly calibrated by AudioControl, and world record attempts at this time can only be official if recorded on one of these five meters by one of us. The interesting part is, world record attempts can be attempted at any level of event, so long as one of us five individuals are present to officiate and we're using one of our meters. So, you don't have to go to a triple point event to set a world record!
The press release on Monday will give you more details. I would imagine it will be on the front page of the carsound forum as well, so keep an eye out for it. If you have any questions about this or any other IASCA related subject, email me anytime, I'd be glad to help.
