| Mobile Dynamics is an excellent way to break in to the industry, but you don't come out of the course a seasoned veteran, only experience and time can make you that.
Mobile Dynamics offers a solid foundation, some great tips and tricks to make you efficient and keep you from blowing stuff up. The cirriculum is well thought out and time tested, they are easily one of the oldest and most recognized car audio schools in North America. |

| i couldnt advise you against mobile dynamics enough. ask them how many of their "graduates" have jobs in the car audio industry. but you would be better off begging for a job cleaning the shop in a car audio store, at least you have your foot in the door and it didnt cost you 6 g's, cleaning up the shop is about what m/d qualifies you to do. there is far more to be learned working in the same atmosphere as a good installer, and the cool thing is you will get paid to learn, not pay to learn. |

| somewhat disagree..
with the shops doing a **** load of work you want someone who has experience already, not someone you have to babysit or constantly spend your time looking over their shoulder..MD gives people the basics that a busy shop requires, the ability to wire systems/alarms-starters etc etc..glass would be a bonus as the custom business will again be taking off as spring approaches
atm we have 5 cars lined up for full custom work, as well as 3 dealerships we have to supply..
someone who could sweep the floors would be a waste of time if we were looking for someone, that's what the co-op kids are there for when they aren't helping out and learning something |

| I took a tour of mobile dynamics yesterday. The facility looks pretty good. After that I went to a local audio shop. One of the installer told me mobile dynamics is a waste of time and money. The teachers does most of the work for the students at night. They cut all the woods at night, so the students just sand the wood or whatever and put it in the car the next day. He never went to mobile dynamics, when he started he just hanging around a local audio shop and learn by hands-on experience and after 6 months he was hired as an installer without MECP.
So I think I am gonna wait and see if I can find a local shop that will take me for apprenticeship. |

| Got three job offers after attending M/D with no previous experience. 1st alarm took me 8 hours. After 3 months, it was down to 4 hours with no complaints on the alarms. Got 6g's back and more. |
