hi guys,
question coming to you's from western canada here....
i was looking for a high (but not too high) 4 ch amp (around 100W RMS min.) to run my front stage and back stage 6.5 components. there are tons on ebay but you know how trushworthy those can be. anyway, i found this one from a company based out of quebec called "protek car audio" they have a 4 ch. amp made by X-Treme car audio...which i've never heard of...but maybe they are an OK company. they amp claims to do (upon further investigation) 1170W RMS so about 280W per channel...i don't know at what impedence but it seemed a little unbeleivable. the models they are shipping now are supposed to have a new heat sink design (last years overheated) and the price on them right now is half price?!?...

https://protekcaraudio.worldispnetwo...5d1e9c99280e6a

i dunno what's up with that, but if anyone out there knows about this company, repuatation, or quality...please give me a heads up!

i want to buy an amp that will power my 4 speakers, low cost is VERY important, power is important, sound quality would be nice, but i'm not looking for a high end SQ amp.

thanks guys from a western cowboy...

i dont know about x-treme's 4 channel amps but im 99% Yuli used their big mono blocks amps to hit the 153 at IASCA finals.

I guess it might do 750 watts but man I can't believe someone could wright about it with a staright face. Also read the text written by a french person. The grammer is totally wrong.

Good luck thou.

The amp in that link seems to say 3200 watts max and 320 watts RMS.

Either way, it looks like the same case design as the Zapco AG series amps hehe.

Prolifik, I thought Yuli used D3's? same company? Maybe you should check your source.

NO actually i am NOT!!

Please get your facts straight next time you say something like that.

I am, however, one of Team Canada SPL members. So yes, i know Yuli and YES he was testing with x-treme audio amps before he departed for finals. Nonetheless i can not certify wheather the x-treme audio amps/company that he was using is the same as reffered to in this post.

Thank you and GO LIGHTING AUDIO GO
