really all i am trying to get is a higher rms... thats it, i don't have room to fit everything in the trunk, and i kno it'll take alot of work to get louder. i just need to buy a second car cuz i can't do all the work on it and still use it to get to work, blah i hate this sport sometimes

dude buy a VW golf! LOUD SS NW car easy! anything from 1984-1999 will be easy to get loud no special work with one of ur amps on a single 15" should do 153-155dB one night wonder! will get louder with more work not more equipment. then add power and batteries... best is 2 12's or 2 15's in that car in no wall ...

2008 - Street C - 15" FI BTL in a 1999 VW Jetta TRUNK!
149.0 on 1 - Powerbass XA3000d
not a bad start for a raw box

that is horrible advice you need the equipment and power and batteries first. All your testing is meaningless when you change amps or batts because what is loud at 155 isn't loudest at 160 anymore. like I said if you would just listen to me you can be loud in your trunk its the a matter or listening and not bitching all the time

i guess I dont know anything about SPL...

btw... from 155 to 160 your frequency may change as much as 1 or 2 hertz... you add more amplifiers to the system you obviously need more battery power available to make them work properly...

adding more power, cone or port can change your frequency up to 10 hz.

Ross dont listen to these people, they are all lying. There is an easy way to get really loud, really fast. They just dont want to tell you what it is. Doing alot of work and testing is not the way, thats the hard way. Easy way is secrete.

i wish there was a smaller version of this class... i would totally run it... the way the cargo area in my car is when the back seats are up is a total nightmare for trying to get an effective box in.. I would run a nw car in a heart beat if i didnt have to run against guys with 8 amps and 20 freakin batteries...

Jo,

your car is perfect for a single 12 or a pair of 10's. your box is TOTALLY wrong tho. PM me with your cargo dimentions.

side to side, floor to top of the seat. and from seat to the hatch. take measurements when your seats are in the normal sitting position.
