yeah well here its nice between IASCA and DB drag we at least one local show per month...

but with only one shop putting on db drag locally and then just the team shadow guys doing IASCA its really all we could ask for its slot for a shop to put on a show we know that.

turn outs really dont matter. look at nevada finals, it sucked balls.

the reality of the situation is that very few Americans will be willing to cross the border, thus making a Canadian finals turn out suck. It doesnt matter if at shows here we have 10 people or 300 people, there will never be a finals in Canada. It doesnt matter if Richard and Nick fall in love and get married in a gay church, we will still never get finals in Canada.

then maybe we need to go back to 2006 when there was a whopping how many shows??? Us easterners need to be a little more like the westerners. Support your db drag shows and show the americans that we can have a turnout of 30+ cars at a single. Only then will W.H. start looking at have a world finals north of the border.

Dave, it doesnt matter how many Canadians are at a single, double, tripple or quadruple show. If no American wants to cross the border there will never be a finals here.

it is easier for db drag to set up a finals RELATIVELY close to Canada and make all the Canadians go there, than to jump thru the hoops of setting up a finals in Canada and have 3 americans show up.

what we need is a big show at the end of the season that we can call Canadian finals. We, easterners already have that scheduled thanks to Richard. Western guys need something similar. We can have East/West Canada finals. Thats as close to finals as we will ever get.

good idea about a Canadian Finals..
many other countries have their own finals every year..
especially the European ones..

bottom line like Yuli stated the reality of Finals here in Canada is that it will never happen. A Finals location here in Canada will never fly not only because of the "lack of financial support" but the fact that there will be a lack of competitors.. without Americans attending the Finals at the Canadian location it will not be enough..

and for the record it was the California location last year that sucked balls Yuli.. Nevada is this year bro...

You know what Yuli if you put it that way I see what you mean. It's true what you're saying about the americans not wanting to come here. The whole east west finals things is something that we really need to push for. If there is a way to have it televised on the web which I know can be done, this would be great. If not Chris Barclay had some sort of live scoring going on last year which would be the next best thing.
