Jordy you are so funny When's the last time you went with Yaniv to any of the shows to show your support for him the whole time he's beeing doin these long drives? How about anyone else from that region? YOU guys dont even support him, how you gonna tell us to support him?

Yaniv is crazy, i dont know how he does it. I dont think he owns a gas station, he's car runs on steam. It doesnt even matter where he's from, be it Montreal, Israel, Morocco, Mongolia, Chernobyl, Sri Lanka or Jupiter . It's not like if he was from Toronto and was going to a lot of shows in Montreal or Ottawa, you guys would RUSH to support him and come to all the toronto shows. And then I could be saying the same thing about you guys

I'm a bit confused about your definition of "not wanting to travel". I know i've gone to finals in '04 (u were there), '05, '06 and '07. None of which were 2 hour drives. Besides you in '04 and Yaniv in '07, I dont recall seeing anyone else from east of Kingston or south of the Nile river. BUT i do recall a number of people from GTA and Hamilton who came to show support, didnt even bring their own cars. Some of whom get drunk and pick up every fat chick or fugly chick with in a 100m radius.

So yah, you are right, WE hate traveling. I'd much rather watch the food network for days straight without changing the channel or go to an all boy Chinese Sunday school to learn Mandarin so i can watch all the Kung Fu movies on the Chinese channel and understand whem someone's shit talkin to a defeated opponent .

I love all my Ottawa and Montreal friends and hope to see you guys at the next multi point event, whether you are competing or not.



But like Jeff said, the finals are comming like a bad plague and everyone better F*cking deal with it.

I never said people needed to go WITH Yaniv to show support... I said that people should have been out to his event to show support. He's made it down to your shows so many times and all he wanted was for you gusy to come his way once.

Now, you ask how many times have I been to shows with him? A lot more than you know about. You forget that I don't only compete in dbDrag and we almost never talk about the TNE shows on here because we know the rest of you guys will just talk crap about the org.

I've been down to SVR, IASCA finals in Louisville (even though I should have given up on that trip) down to Toronto a few times and just about every show I go to is in the US which is at least a 3hr drive each way. (those are the CLOSE ones.. the "regular" ones are more like 4hrs away) ...

You say I don't support him so how can I expect you guys to? ... did you not even read my post? I've been to both of the shows he's put on. How many have any of you guys made it to? Jeff, Martine, Amy and Wayne have also ALL been to both of his shows. So you ask me about support again

I mean, I don't mind if you guys choose to all stay in the GTA... but don't come on here bugging other people for not making the crazy drives that you guys wouldn't do in the other direction. Don't come on here complaining about WF's not being close enough when it's your own fault and REALLY don't come on here calling out everyone else and their commitment when every show you've been to was in Southern Ontario. (btw, I'm using the general "you" not as in YOU specifically)

You say you love your Ottawa and Montreal friends? Prove it.. make the trip to Ottawa for our Multi. We have *1* show a year in Ottawa and it could use all the support we can get. If shops around here see that there actually is some value in putting on a show then they may do more.

In fact... if you make it to this show and I'll pay your entry fee. I know it's still a bit of change to pay in gas but at least it's $60 you don't have to worry about

ok so thats you. how about the rest of poeple over there? We had people from here to go SVR and SBN, what you got to say about that? You've been to BOTH shows he's put on as if those were 4 hour drives?

So like you go to all these shows apperantly that are 4 hours away, yet we've seen you maybe TWICE in the GTA in the last 4 years. Maybe we do drive for 4 hours to shows, we just choose to go to Michigain instead of Montreal, you really dont know. We have guys drive for 4 hours to CSPL shows, but of course you dont know about that either.

In all reality, if you guys are hardcore and need certified scores or points for finals you need to come here, we dont need to go there. If i was from there, I'd probalby be doing what Yaniv is doing, until i get enough points that is. I dont see any of you guys doing that tho.

I'll lean my opinion in favour of Jordy, not because he's a friend, I like Yuli too, remember I'm his #1 fan.

But, the "car audio" scene is like the car show scene, like the drag racing scene, hell, even the Bagpiping scene, you "should" go to other events not in your area.

When I had my licence, and when I get it back (September) I went, and will go again to many car shows, stereo shows that require a 2,3,4 + hour drive to get too.

I'm already planning to go the the S10 Nationals in Missouri next June and that's an 18 hour drive (Justin Credible is coming with me)

I want to drive to the big truck show in Pensylvania in Keystone, that's a 9 hour drive.

You don't "have to" travel do different shows, you can stay local all you want, but it's all about getting out of your area for a day or two, not saying you have to do it every single weekend, but sometimes is good.

In fact, my wife and I are going to the TNESPL show in Alexandria Bay in NY on Sunday just to support the team. That's a 2 1/2 hour drive anyways!
