| I am doing an instalation in this town & country....sub, 4 x 6x9's & 2 4" speakers.
the 4 6x9's and 4" are the easy part.
the hard part is the guy now wants me to put the 10" matts sub right in the middle of the rear leather seat.
I only have about 12" wide area to work with between the 2 rear back seat cusions.
My question is .......can I build a "T" shaped box that will allow me to have the 10" sub mounted through the rear seat or should it be a long skinny box from front of the back seat extending into the trunk?
This might be hard to picture but it would look extreemly cool with this sub mounted between the rear seats and the main part of the box in the trunk.
He isn't going for SPL but more of a old school rock & roll thump is what he wants.

| A "t" shped box would work fine providing that you have to correct internal volume... |

Well after doing my own reaserch I think a simple 4th order bass reflex box will work fine as long as i angle the front to match the angle of the seat.

| That makes sense, however, just make sure you build the front chamber, rear chamber, port cross-sectional area and port length to manufacturer specifications otherwise even though it may look good, it may sound bad...What sub is it ??? |

You are, of course, referring to a basic vented box, correct?
