getting a new woofer, Orion hcca one of the 96db ones

anyways im trying to find some plans specific to this sub or some specs that arent just estimates

couldnt find much

but yea basically looking for a box that will make my bass tracks, rap, whatever I give it to be earth shaking

Not sure if this helps at all, but it does sound about right, 2.25 cu.ft. found here at :

The enclosure should be tuned between 30 - 40 Hertz for it to shake the ground the right way, plus it sounds amazing at those frequencies. I would try out 35 first and from there you will see if you can go lower or higher. Also, I have had some success with slot ports usually around 3" wide so I would also give that a try.

Do you need help with the building of the enclosure? Practice using WinISD Pro, as long as you can find the Specs on that subwoofer WinISD will help you with everything you need.

hmmm couldnt find the thiele permaters for the orion


i have a ported box tuned at 38 hz but its only 1.75 ft3

should i make the 2.25 or can i just stuff the one i have too make it seem bigger?

see how u like the sub in the small box. if you dont, build a new one. it will only take 5 min to load the box you have. building one from scratch is alot harder.
