Alright, I had the day off yestarday and decided to make my box. It turned out very well. Not one screw shot through the wood. It is very clean except for the massive amounts of glue. I like to make sure my boxes are totally sealed . It is tuned to 28 hz and the only thing I have to do to it is carpet it and hook up the wires.

In the first picture there is a pillow case sqeezed behind the amp so that it does not rattle against the wood (will be removed after carpet, lol). The last picture is of my massively thick baffle. I cut the pieces TOGETHER which was very stupid and I do not recommend this because it took me like half an hour to do it and I broke 2 brand spanken new blades (BUT IT LOOKS GOOD! )

If you want to see the building of it go to my cardomain page (I didn't want to upload all of the pictures twice haha):

too much turbulance within the box, not a very good design, but if you are happy with it, and it does what you want then

Hows the ultimate amp working for you?
What series is it?

I like how you retained some space in the back, good planning.

3/4 inch. the baffle is double layered. I cut the sheets together so it would look clean. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS! hahaha, it sucked and took me like 1/2 hour and I broke two jigsaw blades.

I just hooked the amp up today. I didn't get the time to play around with it too much. It is the t3 1000d. It looks great lit up at night. The few minutes that I had it runnin it sounded great.

And thanks J boy2 hahaha.

a good job for a first box,you may want to invest in a air nailer for your next box, since you already have clamps. you will find the air nailer alot faster and easier, and no more split mdf. its always better to have way to much glue squeezeing out the sides than none, that way you know you have created a good seal. if you want to remove the excess glue just take a belt sander to it.
