I have been at the local shop in my area, and I am worried about them making a quaility enclosure. I think I may just try to build one myself. (If anyone in the area does good work lemme know, wouldn't mind someone shipping it out even)

If I do build the enclosure I just have a few questions,

1. Do you just drill holes for the wires and then reseal the holes?
2. Carpeting. Any tips?
3. Is there a specific type of caulking I should use for sealing the edges?
4. Jigsaw for the woofer holes?
5. I want to build a vented enclosure. Any tips? Anyone that could help me with a design?

I have two of these, any suggestions for tuning etc?

1. You CAN do that but buying terminals and installing them in the box looks much better
2. spray adheisive and felt works fine
3. try to get it as tight of a fit as you can and glue should take care of most of it, regular clear silicon works fine to seal any spaces that might be there

5. did you try reading the manual that came with the sub, it should have reccomended box sizes/port legnths in there somewhere

Id use 3/4' MDF and if you screw it I would pre drill holes first to prevent splitting

As much as I do want to build my own enclosure, I am not sure if I am going to be able to find the time to do so.

Any suggestions for a good shop in Northern BC. Willing to get it shipped from anywhere in Canada if needed aswell. Will need an enclosure made and probably some wire.

Would that be a solid design for my subs? 2x10" Rockford Punch Stage 3. I think I grabbed all of the correct values from Rockford's site, and the pdf manual.

Also, I am reading that a sealed box may perform better for these particular subs. Anyone have experience with them?

shipping is gonna be pretty rough, that MDF can get pretty heavy.

depending on what he wants, i will prolly only need to use 1-2 pieces 2'X3.5' ish.
