lol yea my first box was a beauty! haha .... my friend had a old set of home audio speakers that had 10" in them .... one day we took one of them and measured the box and doubled it...then made it a little smaller and built it like that :P.....no straight cuts...loaded with silacone to fill the gaps and i dont think it even sat flat on the ground ...did sound pretty good with my awsome Ultra Linear subs that i got for $20/each back in the day hahaha

nice box... sort of what i want to do with my next box maybe.. that box looks way tooo big though lol....but if it works i guess

Building your first box is always a great project, had a lot of fun on my first box.

My first was for a 15" rockford that I won, and I went with ported because it was louder, so the box was MASSIVE. It barely fit into the trunk of my crappaleir at the time.

I like the fact that there is a little bit "extra" happening here on your first box. The size seems a little large for those subs, but if several design programs give you the same numbers, go for it.....

The lighting is a nice touch for a first box as well, putting a pair of plexi windows in the middle of a bamboo covered box is an interesting contrast. There will be those here who give you a hard time about the box, but showing some creativity and a willingness to try something beyond the basics for your first try is a good omen for the future.....

I hope it sounds good to you, it will be interesting to see what you come up with for your next project.....
