Yea so after changing my mind 6 bajillion times I made it final and bought a maw-15 to test. I'm looking at what I'm going to need enclosure wise, and 12 cu/ft looks like the minimum...

Is there any downside to using sonotubing? If so can someone figure out what diameter I'll need?

I have all my wiring run (4 4 gauge power/ground) and I have my amp rack built, so I am just waiting on the subs for my new sick summer setup.

This should be interesting...

Sonotube works well since you don't have to deal with bracing (I have personally added bracing to some builds but now feel it is unnecessary). The downside is the size of tube needed for your application - assuming you have a car of course...

Here's an online Sonotube calculator that will give you the info you need. Just pump the numbers in. Works quite well:

SonoSub Calculator

Good luck!

Best,
Mark

Oh, and if/when you go to purchase the other 3, make sure you remind me to give you the 4+ discount.
