I was looking up the sizes for the kicker comp-10's and they recommend from 1.0 to 2.4 cu ft. Now isnt that alot of wiggle room. I wanted to go sealed as I've never had or built a ported box before. Any advice would be great. btw i have pretty much no knowledge of ports, types, tuning so if someone suggests that please be very specific.

Cheers

ok downloaded the software, put my subs in the selection chart and it said 51l. Now this is for both subs, but should I run them in seperate chambers, or let them share the space as they will be wired in parallel anyway. Also the program lists the wattage of the speakers, but is that max or rms cuz it said 500 for mine. They're mtx blackgold 10,s.

what you want to do is change the the size that you want and see how it effects the graph. For the power, use the amount of power your amp will supply to the sub. The power is mainly to check the excursion of the sub. hope this helps.

Heres a link to kickers website
http://www.kicker.com/06/tech-support/manuals/manuals/2007/2007%20Comp%20Sub%20d01%20Web.pdf

If you take a look at it its the manual for your subs and they give detailed designs for sealed and vented boxes.
