I like really deep bass. I would like to trigger alarms, I'm a haunted teen like that I was wondering what type of box should I get for my sub http://www.lanzar.com/itempage.asp?MODEL=HRWDC15 <the sub I have I'm new here so the only 15" sub box i know of is the sealed on @ Futureshop and Best Buy which are sealed, are those good for this type of subs? Which Audio Store sells vented ones?
Your help and opinion would be appreciated.

ported/vented
do not just get a box !
finded out why it is a good box for your sub

a good sub in a bad box and a bad sub in a good box will play the same (like crap)

I agree with septuple z for the most part (and from what I understand of it). Do a big-ass ported box tuned low. I think box design will make or break any sub - whether it's worth $10 or $1000. Less than great subs can still sound good if they're set up right.

Know what? For about $35 plus a bottle of glue, you can build your own box. Snag a sheet of 3/4" MDF and get your hardware store to cut the pieces for you. Take them home and glue everything together. Done deal.

Unless You Buy A Really Big Amplifier, You Wont Trigger Many Alarms. You Have To Go With A Ported Box. Go And See One Of Your Local Custom Shop, They Should Be Able To Design And Build An Enclosure That Will Suit Your Needs
