| almost every software, including bassbox, are very accurate, as long as you know what your are doing. What you are doing with an enclosure software is establishing a theorical model. Making your enclosure work as close as possible to the theorical model is what does the difference in the end. You need skills and knowledge to achieve that.
it's easy to go wild on the volume, port area, tuning frequency, Q's and stuff like that, just as assembling a few mdf panels togheters. Building a great enclosure is another story. Getting your hand dirty is a good way to get started into this, off course
Many people will probably tell you that those software don't work, but in reality, they do work, and very well. They just don't tell you everything you need to know about making boxes. In the end, if your enclosure act nowhere near as predicted, the prediction is not the "responsible". Misconception and misbuilding are
