I've always used ABS sewer/drainage pipe from hardware stores.

You can mount it flush with the baffle and flare it, but from my listening and RTA testing it doesn't make any difference at all....as long as the pipe is a reasonable size.

Solen (Quebec) carries the nice flared pipe though, along with anything else under the sun:
