IF you wire them correctly (out of phase) that should be good... isobaric?

I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

I don,t think hes talking about isobaric.

If the subs are going to face the sides of the car you would probably be ok.

However having one face foward and one facing the rear you are bound to run into some serious cancellation issues. Box placement and dimmensions would be CRITICAL. I would advise against this.

yeah, normal box, about 1 cube, one sub per side, but no wall in between to separate the chambers. and the box would actually be in the right further corner of the trunk so one sub would be facing towards rear seat and one towards the trunk

Like theif said, I would advise against this. Unless you know exactly how the sound waves are going to be interacting with each other, your 95% sure to get a horrible sounding experience. This is because the waves bouncing off the rear wall will come back forward and either cancel the front waves out and/or make them sound very muddy. It'll basically sound like fart noises, which does not attract ladies. There are so many different ways you can choose to mount subs, I'm not sure why you'd want to go with this design. If you must though, learn about isobaric mounting options and design your box good. Don't be a noob.

I think it needs to be said this can be done, it IS a half arsed isobaric-ish design. While an isobaric is a good sounding design BTW (though it is somewhat pointless with today's woofer technology that can be fast, deep, and loud).

I have never heard of this being done this way, I cant imagine it would sound good or be loud as described. And it may be expensive if you wire them incorrectly...
