i have a PG 300.1 and no matter what ohm i run it at.2,4,or8 mono or sterio it keeps getin really hot then cutting out.anyone have any idea what could be wrong with the amp?i have 4ga running to it with the proper fusing.

Is your ground wire same gage as power causing a poor ground ? Are you grounded to frame or body ? If body , is the body to battery ground same gage as the power in ? Have you tried putting a fan in to circulate cool air? I get mine from computer supply shop. First fan I used , I just stripped it out of a computer power supply box I picked up for $5.00 at local pawn shop. Just my thoughts.
