| I have 3 amps and i want to hook up two and sell one, so I want to know which 2 are best. I have 6.5 infinity kappas 63.9i 3 way speakers in the front which are 75watts rms at 4 ohms each and 6x9 infinity kappas 693.7i 3 ways in the back which are 110w rms each at 4 ohms. I also have 2 10 inch mtx subs that are 600w rms together. And i have an mtx mono amp tc3001 which is 150w rms and a 4 channel mac audio mpx 4500 which is 4x80w rms at 4 ohms and i have a jbl gto 75.4II 4 channel amp rated at 4x104w rms at 4 ohms. All opinions are welcome, let me know what you all think! |

| unless you give the voice coil configuration of your subs, it is most likely totally impossible to answer your question.
Upon first impressions, you don't have an amp that will deliver full RMS power to your subs... |

The mtx amp will not work for those subs as it does not make enough power. The TC510's need between 200-300rms. I have experience with the TC3001 and if you put those subs on that amp it will most likley over heat. Well if your a volume junkie at least. The MAC audio amps stats are not CEA compliant so they don't mean anything. The JBL amp doesn't appear to be 2 ohm stable. So it appears that none of the amps are suitable to run all four speakers, but if I HAD to choose one it would probably be the JBL

| When i bought the subs from future shop they sold me the tc3001 with it and said thats a good amp for those subs although i feel like future shop is a bunch of idiots! and so if i hook up the jbl to my speakers will the 6.5's be able to handle the power of the amp or do I have to tweek it somehow? |

| the amp you want for those subs is the tc4001. It's probably not their fault as they were trying to give you a good deal. The 3001 is in a package in the flyer but they never asked an installer what to put in the package. As for the 4 channel amp it does not appear to be 2 ohm stable which means it will try to make more power than it was designed to do, besides the numbers they give are peak power numbers not rms so you should be fine with that amp IF it's 2 ohm stable if not you should look at something like the MTX TC4004. It's cheap, reliable and sounds good too.

| So the Tc4001 is going to creat enough power or would the tc6001 be better? and how do I know what level to set my gains to on my jbl amp so i don't blow the speakers? |

| yeah the 6001 would be better but it's also a lot more money. If your on a buget the 4001 should be enough.
