So I just found some people calling cars with audio systems that were "too loud" to be "Boom Cars" ... never heard of them in my life ...

Any history to this word or if it relates to anything today?
Any qualifications (db wise) to become a "Boom Car" ...

Does anyone actually use this term???

This term is from back in the early 80`s. There is even a rap song about it.
