Ok, my friend order a 15" inhuman from Don.

Don told him to put it in a 4.5 Cubic ft box tuned to 40 Hz.

My friend has a 1999 Cherokee and he is INSISTING on using 4---4" round Aero ports.

I punched up the box on WinISD and it said to use 4-- 15.50" long 4" round ports.

your friend is wrong, he needs to use 2 aero ports for 1 sub. 4 ports are used with 2 subs. dont use winsd it will not give u the right specs for a box with aero ports. There is only one program that can calculate correct specs for aero ports and its not winsd.

if u want to tune to 40hz in that box this is what u need. roughly 2.8 cube box, 2 aero ports that are 4 inches in diameter and are 7.5 inches long. This will give you 40hz with aero ports.

what your friend wants is a crx style box. Here is a pic of the standart crx box:

and here is a pic of my jeep box, its a 2001 Grand Cherokee

Oh really a misscalculation on who's part? Tinted I think it's time you go to Mr. Fussy so they can build you a real box.

But seriously yes it it 3 layers on top, more is alawys better right! Tinted has some huge ports and I guess the subs are pretty big too that the depth hit's the ports...... oops...

Alawys fix it with a little glue, screws and mdf!
