best way to wire...(2)-RFP-1212 Dual voice coil subs rated at 400 RMS / 800Peak Power (sealed box) and the amp is (1)-1000.2 fosgate :
2 x 250W @ 4
2 x 500W @ 2 ohms
1 x 1000W @ 4 ohms bridge

sorry for the confusion MOOP i accidently posted a system i sold here is the current system i have thanks 4 your help!!

subs punch HX2 (RFD1212) 12'' specs are as follows:

dual 4-ohm voice coils
frequency response 26-200 Hz
power range 150-500 watts RMS (both voice coils combined)
peak power 1,000 watts
sensitivity 88 dB SPL

the amp im using is a old school power 1100a2 specs are as follows:

2 channel
mono into 4ohm load 1460 watts*1
per channel into a 2ohm load 730 watts*2
per channel into a 4ohm load 450 watts*2

i would put it as 2ohm per sub per channel on the amp. so - to - and + to + on the sub. then send that to a channel of the amp and repeat for the second sub

depends on yuor head units outputand the box the subs are in. if the subwoofer channel(s) are mono, bridge it. if the box is common chamber bridge it. It will avoid an potantial phase issues. If your head unit has stereo subwoofer outs and your box has seperatedchambers, you can go 2 channel but it's really no advantage at all if your subs are in the trunk.
