I have my kicker K65.2 compents they work fine and kicker sent me the specs to what size I should build them to get proper sound and the tunning. Instead of just bookshelves I want to make a mini tower speaker with say a 10" sub in it for when just music is playing I don't have to always use the power sub, I was told best thing is use 2 highpass/lowpass 80-120hz crossovers I think it was.. would I have it setup so it's 2 terminals on the back 1 for the components and 1 for the sub? or just wire them off 1 terminal with the 80-120hz lowpass wired inline to the sub? Or could someone tell me what would be needed to just build a proper crossver so it's more like a 3 way design then just the 2 way for the components and how I would keep the final load at either 8 ohms or 4ohms?

Thanks

That's the specs to the K65.2 components and another thing would would be a good 10" woofer to use not to expensive but would still give nice sq/output?

yeah I have that already, but I wanted some towers instead of usin my 12" power sub I built. That way I can take them move them around and still have bass without draggin the power sub with it.

According to kicker, the specs they gave have me tunning them to 46.5hz what kinda low end could I expect? I know it won't be to boomin bass but would it give off enough to be noticeable? Other then Mdf what other wood could I use that would finish up nicely say with a stain or something?

That's basically what I was asking, but instead of being powered. That way I don't have to rely on a power sub for my bass always.

If you're not gonna have too much bass you could use 1/2" particle board with a veneer on the outside. Last time I bought it it wasn't that expensive, and it finishes fairly nice so long as the veneer doesn't have too many knots in it.
