As for the GM-H50 - one of the best Pioneer amps ever made! Used to do 1ohm loads with those things ALL the time.
My oldest gear is only from the late 80s EXCEPT for a single 6x9 'Add-On' speaker meant to add to the rear dash of a car. It's brand new in the box from the 60s and comes with wiring, screws, and a fader |

All black heatsink like the H200 ... I could be wrong on the model number as I sold it like 3 years ago ... |

PS the "200" comes from the fact that it is rated at 100x2 [ July 21, 2003, 03:06 PM: Message edited by: tweek ] |

| Alright, I'm an idiot then
Yeah, that thing was a beast ... Ran 2 ohm mono loads without a problem ... And, inside, it was completely stuffed ... |

| I love old skool equpiment. My set-up right now consists of a late 80's Pyrami gold series 200 watt amp from back when pyramid wasnt so ****ty(actually delivers close to 200 watts too!) That amp is powering a mid 90's Orion cobalt 10" - stiff paper cone with a foam surround. To power my mids I use an ancient class A MGT 200 watt power amp (gotta be mid 80's). This thing is the coolest amp ever, it's actually 2 seperate 100 watt amps in one, complete with seperate power wires and all.
The best thing about those old amps is gotta be the looks...nothing outragous like with this new crap that will look like junk a few years down the road, just nice straight black lines.... actually looks like audio gear!

| I love my Pioneer Premier GM-X1020 (circa 1997) and Kicker C10a (circa 1996) ... I also had a pair of early-90s Alpine components that sounded sweet. Too bad they were stolen |

| my dad had old 3 way Pioneer 6x9's. He had them in his 1980 F-150. So I figure they were at least 15-20 years old. They were in really good condition when I sold the pair (inc boxes for them) for like $20. I should have kept them. They sounded amazing for 20 mids.

| I have a Pioneer 8 Track deck sitting at my Grandma's place right now.
I bought it off eBay and had it shipped to her.I am just waiting for her to ship it to me now.
I don't knwo too much on it right now except it was built by Pioneer for Leer Jet Electronics. On the face is marked "Pioneer" and on the back is stamped "Leer Jet'.
I don't know what year it was built or anything else, but when and/or if I get it,I will let you know.
Keep on Thumpin'!!

I have some Lear Jet 6x9s, The mids and tweets were no good, so I'm using them as 6x9 woofers on my one computer stereo. |
