Class X amplifiers are a special class D amplifier. Standard Class D amps have very high output with relative good efficiency. The class D amps have a power supply that is run with an analog power ! This is stepped up in class x amplification to a digitally controlled power supply. What does this mean to you? Ultra high efficiency. The VISONIK amps will produce their rated power using only a fraction of the power that a regular class AB or even regular class D amp uses. Most of todays vehicles have very small alternaters. You can purchase a 1200 watt amp, and due to power restrictions , only end up with a fraction of the power you paid for. With VISONIK class X power amp you get 1200 watts of real power and only draw the current of a regular 300 - 400 watt amp! This means getting all the power that you paid for, no more dimming lights, or blown alternator!

Bud, the marketing gods love people like you, they got a live one here. No offence but what you wrote sounds like what was more than likely written by Visonik to prey on people who do not know any different. There is no such thing as a magic power supply, nor the current and heat transfer from it. People believe what they read and unfortunately, you are reading from the bottom of the barrel. Whether you choose to believe it from this point on is up to you. Do more research to make an eductated and informed buying decision.

Your subs have a wattage claim of 600watts rms with dual 6 ohm coils. So with a pair of them wired in a all parallel circuit, any amp that gives between 800 and 1500w rms @ 1ohm is more than enough power. Good sound is more about the box, concentrate on the box, it is far more important. Here is a prime example of how a manufacturer leads the uneducated customer.

V718XD *
1200 Watt Digital Amplifier

Rms Power @ 14.4V DC
1 x 500W @ 4 Ohm
1 x 600W @ 2 Ohm
1 x 900W @ 1 Ohm

Rms Power @ 17V DC
1 x 600W @ 4 Ohm
1 x 900W @ 2 Ohm
1 x 1200W @ 1 Ohm

Now I don't know about you, but my vehicle operates between 12 and 14.4 volts, thus if anything, this amp makes way less power at 12 volts than it does at 14.4 volts. What you need to find is a good amp that has a minimum of 90 amps fusing and is rated to deliver is maximum output at 1 ohm abd 12 volts. Ignore wattage claims rated higher than 12 volts and ignore peak wattage ratings. Keep searching, and again no offence intended, but you are shopping at Walmart here for amplifiers.
