| i wouldn't sugest putting two different channels or even a left and right on a dvc. that seems like a bad idea to me. i would bridge the amp and wire the sub most likely in series (+,-,+,-) that should keep the amp cooler. If you wired it in paralel chances are the amp would pretty hot. Ive always found that a higher resistive load usualy means less heat, and chance of product failure.
in series its an 8 ohm load, paralell, 2ohms, but if you bridge the amp, make sure its capable first or youl have a chance to loose the magic smoke, and we all know, once the smoke leaves the amp, you can never,- ever, put it back in!
