im looking for subs that can handle 2 rf bd1500's. i have about 1.5 cubicft of airspace for the subs, i might be able to get 2 cubes. but the mounting depth is only very shallow maybe 8-10 inches. i was thinking maybe 4 8's. any suggestions?

I'd go for 4 E8A's I have 2 running off 700 watts in ported boxes and they're great, most guys think I got a 12 or more back there

I'd run 4 off of one bd1500 @ 2 ohms and build a 2 cube ported box tuned to about 30hz

it'll pound pretty good and you can sell 1 bd 1500 to pay for the subs

if you're set on 2 bd1500's run 2 off each bd at 4 ohms (about 900 watts per pair)

I can't think of any other 8's right now( except maybe 8w7's) that will take that power

and 4 10's won't work right in that space

nice truck dodgeram............im installing my stereo in my 03 ctd. have you ever done any installs in a 03......under the back seats is pretty small. i was thinking of getting rf hx2 8's (4). how do the rf's compare to the e8a's. the only thing i know is that the hx2's are $140 cdn. so its a little cheaper. but.......
