In the entry level speaker point I've always liked the Pioneers so that would be my by default. But seeing how you already have them in your hot little hands, why not install them both and find out which ones you really like the most? That is the best way to decide. "what sounds better" is a VERY subjective question as everyone has their own idea of what sounds "good".
As for putting out 120 watts... that is their peak music power handling... so a little 30 to 75 watt amp should be sufficient to run them.
Now about size of magnet... size does matter... to a point. The magnet is basically the motor of the speaker but you have to take into account design and what its made of.
