| Sony is the last one I have seen still making one.
I ran across a JVC CD1000 (I think) a couple months ago. It was unique in that it could play BOTH a regular CD and MD. That thing was cool. | |

| I know you asked about MD HU's but I just wanted to mention that my friend got a clarion 835 and he picked up the clarion minidisc changer that they have available  . Good price and a very small unit. | |

| IMO, its not marketed very well. Most people we sell minidisk to, have either never heard of it, i really dont know ANYTHING about it when the come into the store.

| I have a portable minidisc player I bought for use at the gym. When I was in the market for a portable audio player, I was looking at the RIO mp3 players. The sony minidisc player offered everything that piece did at the same price, and media for the minidisc player is insanely cheap compared to upgrading memory on the RIO players.
Ofcourse, this was before the hd units dropped in price. Either way, minidisc suited my needs much better.
