I am getting a lot of white noise in my system, and I think it is the CD player picking it up. At volume 0 there is no noise, but one click up instant white noise. I am curious if it could be the wire harness, there are two black wires, and two yellow wires, so I soldered the pairs together. The package made no mention of the pairs, so I am curious if something is not right... Here is a pic:

On the female plug in the truck, the two blacks would hook up to one black, and one black w/ green stripe. The two yellows would hook up to a par of grey wires with orange stripes.

Any one know what the difference is between the blacks on the truck plug?

That is right. It could be a gain matching problem.

I dont think it is a gain issue, it is set at min. If it is turned up, the noise only gets louder. Somewhere I am picking up noise, so I thought it could be because I am tied into two seperate ground wires...
