| ok i think its sorted out!
apparently all i need is a length of 18ga copper wire, to connect the amp into the deck's "external amp control" on the deck's harness.. thanks!
*** so anyway my sub is in a 1.75 cu/ft box, tuned to 38Hz.. what would +6, +12, or +18 dB of bass boost do? the lowest the setting goes is 40Hz. where would be the best to set it for my application? or is it best to wait until the deck goes back in and do it by ear? i guess my main concern is distortion, what do you guys think of bass boost, is it good or bad? and how do you use it properly? (assuming gains are set at 5.0v with 5.0v preouts on deck)
thanks in advance!
