| well if they're 6 ohm coils, then you can have either 3 ohm(parallel) or 12 ohm(series). If you have two subs, then you get either 1.5 ohms, or 6 ohms(parallel) or 6 ohms, 24 ohms(series). If you want to play it safe, use a 6ohm configuration. You will get less than the 4ohm rated output of your amp( somewhere around 350-375 watts total @ 6ohms. I would try it at 1.5 ohms and keep an eye on the amp. If it gets very hot, don't do it, if it's o.k. then let it ride. Those amps usually have protection circuit that will turn on if it's an unacceptable load anyway. As far as SQ goes, I run my subs at 1 ohm and it's clean, tight, and very satifying. I've tried the same combination at 2 ohms and 4 ohms, and I've been unable to detect any audible difference with similar power.
