Anyone know of a place in canada that will recone re subs?

I have a 12" re mt and need it reconed.

If they still have a canadian rep that is probably who I would send it to, although last I checked the OEM RE recones didn't come cheap. The shop in calgary can be found on the web at http://speakersonly.com

I'm pretty sure there is still a shop in waterloo that can recone pretty much anything... and I would also be glad to help you out... PM me if interested...

around 100us + shipping.

Found a place in ontairo that will recone it for me.

But ygpm anyways.

That is where i got the sub if anyone wants to read how I got ripped off check the feedback section there.

I would try it my self but 10 and 12 inch mt are alot harder to recone then 15 or 18's.

The 12's are hard cause once the spider sits on the landing the surround is still up about 1.5- 2 inches. you have to put weight on the center of the cone untill the surround will come down and sit on the mounting ring. It is not easy and can put pressure on one side very easy so when you pull the shims it puts the vc's out of line and cause them to rub.

If it was a 15 or 18 no question i would do it my self.
