| I think that you are using a pellet gun shooting blindly into the sky hoping to hit a duck. You need a whole pile more info to make an educated and informed buying decision, otherwise you might end up with a system that could be
(1) crud
(2) good but sounds like crud
(3) good but does not work to the best of it's abilities
Or you can slow down a bit, ask some questions, answer some of our questions and we can see where it goes from there. I noticed on the Kenmore site that they conveniently only list the peak power ratings now and you have to dig up the destruction manual to find out the real abilities. Why do manufacturers have to try and mislead the public like this?

| That sounds like an idea, but not a set up. I don't know where you are located, but if you are close to MR2NR, go see him. I don't always agree with him, but there is no doubt in my mind that he knows his stuff, and he actually gives a damn. Otherwise, see a reputable dealer in your area as it seems that you need help that may be difficult to give through this board alone. After saying that, please tell us what your sonic goals are. Do you want a bass machine, good overall sound, SQ based system, and do you want to use only your factory locations? What's your budget? Do you travel by your self mostly? Are rear speakers important to you? How much space are you willing to give up? etc...

| Ya I agree with these two guys ^ There is alot of info we need. Do you also know the model number of the amp in question? If so we can dig up some real world numbers for you. Dont even look at the 1800W peak rating means squat. And then we can tell you how many Comps or VR's you need to handle the power for each amp and what you are going to need.

Those amps are a great bang for the buck. However you can run two CVR's on one amp while reaching there full potential. So if you want 2 amps you can run upto 4 CVR's. And the match of amp power to the 4 Infinity should be a nice balance. If your willing to give up the extended portion of your cab you could run 4 CVR 10's and two of the 9152 amps. That would slam very nicely. Now Im not saying you can't run one sub to one amp but if you have it setup in a way that the amp sees the maximum output you will kill the sub and if you run it at 4 ohms then you are powering the sub no problem but you have then paid for more power then you are using.

| Yup you bet. If that amp puts out 900rms at 2 ohms mono just get 2 12" CVR's with dual 2 ohms voice coils and then you parallel the two voice coils and series the two drivers or series the two voice coils and parallel the two drivers and viola 2ohms mono.

| Totally agree ^ we have seen companies over the many years we have been in this go from a class A company to a not so great company just to follow the marketplace demands. And some are really starting to turn around back to the old way of thinking and thats great. Like I said Peak ratings dont mean anything and if you are not making it public knowledge and posting it everywhere in your sales advertising being net or brochures your "Real World" numbers then that is a form of deception. Now in the case of the Kenwood amps in question like I said very good bang for the buck and with them being CEA2006 rated I would have no worries about the performance but why make is do difficult to find that information. You should post those numbers loud and proud.
