2.0L twin cam turbo. Thing was a rocketship on rails. Rear wheel drive is a blast.

One of my friend's has one and I like it. Custom paint job (interior and exterior), exhaust, jl system, and he just put some 17-18's on it, i can't remember which one. I have a blazer with an auto tranny so I love getting into the car cuz it is soo low and manuals are just plain fun! Some ppl question the space in the back but I am 6'3 and I wasn't too squished when I had to ride in the back once. But there are some downsides to it. He has one 13.5 JL (not sure if it is the 6 or 7) and the rattle is extremely annoying. Not only on the outside but on the inside too. (I am lucky enough to only have rattle on the outside) And the reason why I would never buy one is it is front wheel drive. You just can't have half the fun in a front wheel drive car as you can in a rear wheel drive one. It does have the hand brake but those don't last long if you use them like most of my friends do. But I admit that they are one of the best looking cars out there (especially for their price).

sweet. yea, the rattling can be easily fixed, just takes time, work and money. all ya need to do is buy some dynamat extreme. it deadens rattling and vinbration immensely!
but yea, it does suck that the tiburon is FWD. RWD's are way more fun. my camry was a FWD and it wasnt too bad; i pulled a nice drift on a corner once (it was in the snow tho, so it doesnt really count too much)

And how many rusty old Gm's and smoke blowing Caravans do we see on the road by comparison then?

I see a ton of them, and no hyundai.
I'm not saying hyundai hasn't got any better, but I'm just waiting it out to see for myself.
Some of the prices are just too good to be true.

yea, theres tons of old rusty GM's and caravans half falling apart driving around. you dont see any hyundai driving around with rust or anything (the ones that actually made it)

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good RWD import?
