| I'm old skool..
Either a new Alpine deck or a 7930.
Spend the time finding as many 3545s as I could
Full on Canton front end (luckily I already own it )
Focal multimag woofers
Coustic XM-7 xover
That's it.
If buying all new:
Alpine deck
Macrom everything. |

| Head unit: old Alpine 7618 w/ 5959 changer, 7909, 7930 (of which I own) or a new 7995. Of course, F1 would be cool.
Amps: old Alpine 3545, a bunch of them I'd consider multiple old RF Power 1000s if I couldn't find the 3545's. Failing those, RF BBQ amps from the mid 90's. I also quite like the old PG special edition amps like the Frankampstein and Route 66. I also like uDimension as a newer line.
Processing and Cross-overs: RF EPX2. Maybe the Alpine 3681 but the EPX2 rocks. An original Symmetry would be king but try finding one.
Front stage: old Alpine 6022/6062 (Dynaudio) would be beauty, or a new Dyn set. Or, the Morel Supremo tweeter along with RF Audiophile mids. I would also consider the better models from AVI
Subs: Old: Alpine (again) 6012/15 or the CX series. New: JL W7 line or the Elemental Designs like the 8's Dodgeram has.

| geez, alot of you guys like that exotic stuff, my question is, how did you come upon those conclusions? like I dont remember ever seeing a rainbow (for example) display board, or anything of the sort, so how did you decide that that was the best (for you)? Did you just buy or want the stuff cuz the ads sed it was good, or cuz it was soo expensive (not that MB Quart is cheap ha!) What was your reasoning? My wish list was an educated obtainable goal of equipment that I would trust to do what I want 'cuz I've heard it perform before (for the most part) and change my Eclipse cross overs to line drivers! hehe ooops! |

| Well if I money I would do this
H/U - Denon
Front Stage - CDT Audiophile 643 3-Way
Rear Fill - CDT ES-630
Amps - Orion G4 for all drivers
Subs - (2) JL 13W7
this would rock. |
