Hi i am looking for a new deck, I dont like anything to flashy
like that movie crap and such worse case scenario I just turn it off
as long as im not paying more for it

i'd like it to be a good sounding deck, doesnt have to be all SQ
but I definitly don't want a deck that holds me back if i wanted a SQL kinda build

mp3 would also be nice (dispite the fact its a worse Sound quality file)

ability to amp cancel (turn off signal going to like
speaker amp for burping subs) would be cool, again isnt really a deciding factor

set up custom EQ's (of course)

and yea really clean look, I dont like the real flashy stuff, like lights are alright as long as there isnt a fricken rainbow plasterd on it...im not gonna be worried about it but i perfer blue for illumination

Thanks guys for your recomendation

yea, bascially id get this and put it in my shit box of a car, and then when i get my new car move it over and I want it to be one less peice ill have to get

for my next car im going for a build where theres the possibilty of nice hard hitting make it hard to breath bass, and still sound good when I turn the bass down

some companies I can get cheap pricing for and would like to prolly stay with unless another company totally makes it worth while to go for

I can getin no peticular order)
alpine
mtx
coustic
panasonic
sony
eclpise
pheonix gold
MB quart
bazooka (LOL)
JL
diamond

well I can remember those of the top of my head

P.S. Nothing too outreagous in price please, I'd like to shoot for
300 bucks but anything under 500 please (not forgeting I get that stuff cheaper

Clarions new model this year looks great. I prefer the 865 touchscreen but that might be out of your range.

Definately check out their stuff though.

I've been looking at Clarion or Eclipse decks for a new install this summer or fall, I've known that both brands have been around a while and have heard (and read ) good things about them.

My price budget is about the same, up to $ 500 per componet, but not really fixed, only requierment is that it be at least $ 300, or I won't even look at it , on amps, I'm going even higher $500-$1000.

Check out eclipse a little more. My sister just found a lightly used cd3000 for under $100 shipped on ebay, and that has mp3, wma, 3 sets of preouts that are 5volt. Eclipse sound quality is unprecedented, and they [almost] never skip. My cd8053 has 16volt balanced outputs and will play cd's so scratched even my computer won't play them. My friend bought one of my old eclipse decks, got into a head-on collision and the cd never skipped. Another plus to eclipse is that they have IMO the best anti-theft available. You can make any custom CD you want, choose that for the security disk and once power is d/c the unit is inoperable unless the cd is inserted within the first 5 tries, if you don't get it you can enter a somewhat hidden button combination to give you another 5 tries - after that it has to be sent to eclipse to get repaired and they send it back to the original owner. It also has GPS tracking on a stolen unit, and the serial number is stored electronically so it can never be ground off. If you buy the unit new from a dealer they have a 1 year replacement on any stolen units that aren't recovered, just fill out a form within the first year and they will get you a new deck just like that.
