hey all, just wondering in someone could help me out here....i run all mtx incars in my vehicle, they were all in my firebird, Everything worked fine, sat in the garage for 2 months in the car, speakers only, uninstalled them 2 weeks ago...went to put the 6x9's in last night and i noticed that one of the caps on the 6x9 had blown up!...part of the cap was like welded in a way to the basket and there was like cardboard stuff all over....what could of caused this?...and do u think it is under warrenty?....also i have a 5 1/4 that just dosnt work any more, and its showing no load, but the speaker still moves freely and everything....what could cause that?...if any one knows or has an idea id like to know please....

yea, i did, and i dont, it was wierd cuz the top of the cap was like welded to the basket, i ad to scrape it off.....apperently it had to of revieved over 50 volts to pop...would it have anythign to do with a guy welding motor mounts in on my car where they were installed?
