I bought 4 pair of 8 foot twisted RCA's on Ebay last year for $40.00USD. The cables are Ixos. Anyway, I did not rewire my system until this weekend and all I can say is HOLY SHITE my sound is better!! The alternator noise is no longer audible, and I had annoying deck noise (especially when changing tracks) coming from my HU, kind of like a record player sounds in between songs. I used to think the noise was caused by my AC EQL but now that I have these new wires in my entire system it was obviously just noise getting into the old regular RCA's. Oddly enough, even my Sirius sounds better (still not CD, but almost FM Radio quality - I have the direct feed to my Eclipse deck). My system finally sounds the way it should - SWEET!! Now to get the sub installed again...

If any of you are thinking of getting twisted cables, I say DO IT.
