I want to get Satellite Radio but I don't know which to get... I've heard a lot of good things about both. I'll tell you guys my interests and maybe you guys can help ease my decision.

I like listening to: Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, Rap Music, Rock Music, Alternative Music.

I've heard I can subscribe to the American verson of Sirius/Xm though?

I have Sirius and I like the programming. The sound quality as not as good as CD or FM radio so I use mine mostly for talk radio (Howard Stern, news, NFL sports).

Your best bet is to grab caopies of the programming guides for both XM and Sirius and decide which has the best for you. The programming might be very similar. My HU was Sirius ready - to me there was no major difference bwteen XM and Sirius so I went with Sirius for easy hook up to the deck.

XM is more music, Sirius is more talk, however both only have a few good music stations so it works out the same. I mean do you really need the XM's 50 channels of folk, classical, latin, 80's and oldies?

I have XM but I'd rather have sirius now. Plus there's the playboy station on sirius!

as an installer i prefer the sirius sporster as its easier to work with when hard wiring in, its also more asthetically pleasing, as far as content and quality its all up to personal preferance
