| I have one, and there was a thread started about these already, I think they are great amps, Tons of power, just lacking in one area, The ohmage....If they were stable at even 1ohm they would have Nothing wrong with them,

| For the price a very hard amp to beat. It makes 1800W rms at 4 Ohms and 2700W rms at 2 ohms. Few issues: You have to run minmum 2gauge (0 Perferable) If your going to run it at 2 ohms. A second battery is recommended and even though there is terminals like a 2 channel you should only ever use the outter two. Or put only a 4 ohm load to each set. As its basically two amps inside and if you use both as they are bridged inside you my accidentally hook it up at 1 ohm or burn parts out. So that step is important. But it rocks out pretty good. There is still a couple left as demos.

| an amp does what a amp is designed to do
just because an amp will run under a lower load dosn't make it any better
its your job to match the subs up the the optimal load the amps designed to run
the only reason that you want it to run a lower load for
so when your bragging to your friends that know nothing it sounds better
my amp will run at a lower load than yours will
not |

| Well.... do a search and check out the other thread. You'll see that a lot of people have been having problems with them. The warranty on them is great, but I'd rather have an amp that worked with no warranty than an amp that blew multiple times with a great warranty.
Smartass sells a lot of them though, so he'll probably get bent out of shape because I've said this. But it's the truth.
I've offered to do some testing of my own for him to maybe change my mind. (and I'd gladly post up a glowing review) But I don't think that's going to happen any time soon

| can you post some links Jordy or all the blown amps? I blew one already. needless to say they DONT like 1 ohm... but once that was sorted out they make TONS of power. at a GREAT price. NO complaints here. I would buy one again, in a heart beat.

| Here's the thread...
http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/general-discussion/20923-ultimate-dilemma-3.html
You'll notice in this thread alone people talk about:
2 Blown 1000d's
A blown T3-500
The gain controls being upside down on one
Another blown 1000'd
And this is just from our users who have posted in the thread. Doesn't sound very promising to me.

| Ya dude, I like mine alot. I sent it into protect mode 5 times and it still works great. (I bought a sub that was suppose to put a 2ohm load on the amp but they sent me the wrong sub and I was putting a one ohm load on the amp and the amp kept turning off). So, ya, i deffinetly recomend it.

electronics are not very forgiving | True... but there are very few amps that blow that easily.. even if they're abused beyond belief.
Hell, I've crossed over the pos/neg on a Earthquake D2 (which are notorious for being faulty) and didn't have it blow...
You're right, poor installation can blow an amp, but the numbers I've seen from these amps is unusually high.
