| I have a weakness for shiny machined metal, so that just does it for me! |

| WTF!?!?!?!?
With all the crazy Asz SPL subs out there i figured it would only be a matter of time until someone would come up with this sub (really close to what i had in mind... but this one looks a bit more see-through). hummm, wonder what the cone will be made out of to support all that stroke... mabe titanium??

Maybe i'll consider buying one once the machining process becomes more efficient. or they figure out a way to mass produce them so that the cost will be lowered the thing is if you have a wall in your car, how do you keep the woofer cone behind the doorjamb? I know in DBdrag, that stuff has to be behind the doorjamb

| My biggest concern with alot of these new high spl drivers are they are coming up with stronger motors and are able to handle tremendous power..... However cones to handle this type of travel is either heavy or not rigid enough to handle it....
so you add a heavy piston.... throwing efficiency out the window...
or you come up with a new composite to withstand such power, travel etc...... which costs big time R & D bucks....... which alot of these smaller companies do not have.....
thats why you see these monster subs restricted to spl only...... because they have no real practical use for the consumer market... you'd need tons of power to get them going.....
Im not taking away from adire or any of these smaller companies... i commend them for pushing the limits but somethings dont make good business sense i believe monster drivers..... are one of them...... |

| If it really ends up being a break through then other people will just copy the design and all companies will have.. that seems to be the fad these days - instead of coming up with ideas, just copy other peoples..
although it does look cool! |

| also there seems to be a few people confused.. thats just the motor of the sub there still needs to be a basket, cone, etc - added |

Ok...so lets see here...I could fit the motor in my trunk if I use a sledgehammer to drive it in..where to put the rest of it now?Hmmm..maybe I could rig up a remote control to drive the car into the lanes...
That things crazy!
