| I have this amp and curently run it at 4 ohm resistance.( two Audiobahns aw1206 2*4ohm coils each sub )
Is it safe to run this amp at 1 ohm at least for db drag???
Please tell me your opinions...Thank you! |

| im sure it might be able to take it but not for very long it will heat up real fast

| this amp is NOT 1ohm stable, or even capable! I tried to run it at 1.4ohms and it shuts down very quickly!  Sucks ass I know

| Why do manufacturers put wildly exaggerated claims on equipment? People beleive what they read, that's why.

People beleive what they read, that's why. | I could understand that, but they don't give a power rating for 1.5ohm, they just show a wiring diagram that puts a 1.5 ohm load on the amp. All their power charts are only down to 2ohm. I doubt it would be in the manufactures best intrest for people to place an unsafe load on their amp, yet they diagram it for the user. Strange. | |

| Cause it will run 1.5ohms and no lower. We put 2 3ohm drivers on them all the time paralleled and runs fine. Anything lower and it shuts down.

| I've been running these amps since they came out and SQ is not the T3-1000's strong suit.
The T3-500's aren't the power houses the 1000's are but sound much better in my opinion.
I've owned three 1000's and 2 500's. I also have two 500's on the way from our buddy smartass.
I like them and would recommend them to those who intend to run them 2ohm.
What everyone seems to be missing is the T3-4075 which is by far the jewel in Ultimates crown. | |
