I am wondering how the Kenwood Excelon series of amps and speakers/subs stack up to some of the other equipment like the Alpine V12 series of amps and Type R speakers/subs.
I listen mostly to rock music and am more concerned with sq than say a very loud boomy type setup.

I've been using two KAC X811D amps to power my JL 13w7- awesome sound, clean and punchy.

Happy with the HU as well - no problems - good warranty.
