Ok , let me start off that im just starting to put my gear together. I have a 125 watt rockford amp that im going to bridge and run a 1- 10 inch sub(small truck - ford ranger) just for that.

I do not plan on installing a capacitor so here is my question

I have an opportunity to install 2 infinity kappa's in my front doors which have an impedance of 2 ohms. I'm already installing 2 infinity references ( 2ways) in the rear doors which have an impedance of 4 ohms.

Am i going to be able to provide enough power without an amp to the kappas(which will draw twice the current cause of the impedance) just from my deck, or should i go with another set of the 4 ohms?

I don't suggest dropping the impedance of speakers to be powered by your HU below 4 ohms...Unless the HU specifies stabiliy at lower loads...

you will be doing the infinity cappas a very grave injustice if you don'y go out and buy them a decent amplifier. Deck power sucks, don't do it.

^^^ Just about any aftermarket speaker system, or component system will sound better running off an amp, opposed to HU power...
