| Either change to a different box or change the set up. The box is what is going to make the biggest difference. That said, if you want more bass, it is going to require more everything. More efficient type of box, sub suited to that box and of course power. If you are going to be keeping the same amount of power, even with changing to the biggest baddest subs on the planet and with the proper box behind them, the results may not be what you want.
Determine what is is you are willing to do.
1) keep the amp, change the subs and box.
2) keep the amp, keep the subs, change the box.
3) change the amp, change the box, keep the subs.
4) change it all.
That will determine your road to more bass. |

| Try a ported enclosure first. If that still doesn't satisfy your expectations you've got to look into new subs and possible with that a new amp. The W6v2 aren't output kings but they do sound very good which is what they were designed for. A bigger amp is not the answer with these drivers. |

| I ran 2 of the 12" in a round ported box for most of the season. If you'r looking to compete in spl then get rid of those subs. If you're looking for sq then woo haaa. I had them in a ported box tuned to 36hertz and it hit hard for everyday. When I got into the spl scene I went with a slot ported box and did 144.7 on this amp.

This was clamped at 750rms per side and I had to run it on stereo due to the fact that at the time I didn't know shit about car audio so I didn't know how to try to load down the amp.
It all depends on what you're gonna do with them. sq great. sp good luck bro. |
