Ok, what the hell? Used WRX? Used 300ZX loaded to the brim with mods and stereo? Used AWD Eclipse/Talon loaded w stereo? All the choices available and you'd get a Neon?
That's just what I would do, anyways... [ June 04, 2003, 10:21 PM: Message edited by: kelticslob ]

and that's STOCK. with only 200hp. | And you can be sure the aftermarket will be there to support this new fleet of high-performance compact cars. This will smoke anything in its class, and with a few mods, I can only dream how fun this car would be to drive. Obviously a WRX STI would be a better car, but it better damn well be for $50,000!!! lol The SRT-4 will probably give the STI some competition once modified to the extent the STI is from factory, and maybe be the king of the compact scene. |

| The SRT4 rocks
Mopar has 3 stages of performance enhancement planned already. Stage 3 is good for 300 HP Stock rated power is 215 hp, but virtually every SRT4 dyno'd puts out MORE at the WHEELS than is rated at the flywheel. That's powa
For approx. $28k Canadian (projected sticker price), it's one heck of a bargain. Plus those oh-so-cool Viperish seats in it. And it'a already won every "hot new compact" shoot-out I've read yet. Even the domestic-jaded Sport Compact Car rated it Car of the Year. The STi and Evolution may be faster but they are going to be minimum $40k up here.
Anyways, at least he bought a Cav and not one of the fugly new Sunfires. Who the heck approved that design???

| Like I said if I like dodge then I would get a neon but I don't, just like people have there preference over name brand stuff, you say this is better to someone else the other brand is better... to everyone Horse power isn't everything I've always been a chev fan always will be, my car isn't my life unlike everyone else so who cares what I buy or what I have bought everyone else can hate it all they want cause then I know there won't be alot out there....like every other vehicle... |

| I used to be a GM fan, even after owning a Z28. Then I got a Z34 and it all ended
But anyway - as I recall, when you flip your key to 'run' (not 'start') the airbag light will flash 7 or 8 times and as long as it flashes the same number of times after you unplug the factory radio, you should theoretically be good to go.
Kool - you just seemed a little 'excited' I was just taking the view that the world is full of morons and it is our burden to have to deal with them |
