| If the model # is X10C-4 it was last produced in 1999 I believe. Cast aluminum frame, XMAX of 10.35mm, 350 watts power handling. http://thebassbin.co.uk/shop/product...ts_id/127.html Hope that helps a bit. [ March 04, 2005, 01:40 AM: Message edited by: Jeepbeats ]

| Those are awesome subs. I wish I had a couple still. The diffenence is a lot between the Specs I had and the specs Jeepbeats had. Best to find out the exact model, and go from there. Is there any coding on the back?

| Rob what you have are a pair of Kicker XPL-KX10.4
As Loud stated they are from the '96-97 era and are quite different than the newer style XPL's (X10c) which had a slightly higher power handling rating (350rms), lower sensitivity (88.5dB), and different cone material.
Yours are rated at 300rms and have a sensitivity number just shy of 90dB.
Personally I never got a chance to audition the first gen. XPL's but I did try out the second gen's and I thought they were a great driver.
Handled a good amount of power, worked in many smaller enclosures and sounded excellent.
A bit expensive for what you were getting I thought but a good performer still. |
