I'm looking for a good amp that will suit my power needs and don't know where to start.

I have a pair of Alpine Type-R components that I want to have 100 watts RMS each.

I have both (but only want to hook up one) of a 2ohm and a 4ohm dual voice coil Alpine Type-R subwoofer that I want to have 600 watts RMS on a 2ohm load.

Should I choose the 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub and is there a quality multichannel amp that can power all of this by itself using bridging or whatever else?

Thanks!

MultiChannel Amp are usually more pricy FYI.

Here is what I came up with

Alphasonik PMA640A - My pick
Audison VRX 4.300.2
Boston Acoustics GT-42
MTX TA7804
Rockford Fosgate P850.4
Rockford Fosgate P4004
Zapco DC650.6
Soundstream Human Reign4

http://www.woofersetc.com/ have good deals!

damn, those Rockfords would be perfect if they made more than 400 watts bridged to the sub
