i would say alpine for the power and performance, and the pioneer for the looks and features.

this is to power a fosgate 700s going to a kicker s15l7


- i want to be able to maximize my customizability sound-wise for the insides cuz i got ****ty inside speakers.

- they both play mp3/wma files, which is a big plus because i will only be listening to burnt mp3 files.

- my car suspension is ****, so it will be a very bumpy ride for the deck.

- they r both almost brand new, amazingly mint condition.
- the price for both decks is the same
- alpine has no warranty, pioneer has til dec/07


i need to know what is a better buy for myself

1year warranty on regular pioneer decks vs 1 year warranty on alpine decks, where's the advantage there??

8500 MP will eventually break, that motorized faceplate I see it happen too often.

Id buy the one with the best EQ/Xover networks...
